Chain of Command - WW2 British Carrier Section

In addition to the Platoon of Infantry that I recently completed for TooFatLardies Chain of Command WW2 game (or Bolt Action if you prefer) I have just finished an Infantry Carrier Section to add as support options.

Each vehicle has something different. One has a Piat, one a 2inch Mortar and the last one is a Mk1 older carrier version.

These are modelled and have decals to represent troops of the carrier Platoon of the 4th Battalion Kings Shropshire Light Infantry. A Territorial Infantry Battalion of 159th Infantry Brigade, 11th Armoured Division.

My Great Grandfather served with the KSLI in WW1 so I was looking for a late war WW2 equivalent.

They should compliment the Infantry Platoon nicely. Next up should be a Sherman V and a Churchill Tank.

  2. Those are fantastic! It’s nice that you have the link to your family too.

My own grandfather served in the Royal Artillery, which doesn’t translate that well to games the size of CoC or Bolt Action.

    1. Cheers mate. Tenuous link as Great Grandad was WW1 but close enough. With my two Grandads in WW2, one served in the Royal Artillery in an Anti Tank Regt all through North Africa, Sicily and Italy and the other was in the Desert airforce.
